  The Dorchester Center for the Arts is celebrating 40 years! 

1970-2010

To help commemorate this special milestone, DCA is sponsoring a T-shirt design contest. For details on how to enter, click here. In each of the two divisions, youth and adult, the artists selected with the winning designs will win $50, and their designs will be printed on T-shirts sold at the Center throughout 2010.

            Dorchester Drama Guild One Act Plays Cancelled

            The Dorchester Drama Guild, a program of the Dorchester Center for the Arts, is announcing the cancellation of their next production of one act plays, which was scheduled for March 19-20. Unfortunately, the recent snow storms disrupted auditions and rehearsals, and additional scheduling conflicts prevented the allowance of proper preparation time for the show. 

            However, the Guild will be holding auditions in April for their June production, which will be a

musical/variety show. Additional information will be available in the coming weeks.
